They say it's "good news", but I'm not sure about that this morning. I will say I don't think it's bad that things are not changing discernibly. I don't want drastic changes with this particular health issue. Slow and steady… slow is smooth, smooth is fast. As I was journaling this morning, I was thinking about the sort of inner dialogues between different personality parts (inner family systems / ACA sort of work). There's definitely a part of me that is just pushing pushing to fix this, get through it, get over it. But that isn't this. Physically, I feel about the same as I have over the last week. My leg could be marginally better… not 100%, but might be better? Then again, I may just be hopefully imagining that… Maybe one of the tougher parts of different types of medical / mental trials is the figuring out / re-jiggering the structure in my mind that allows me to trust what I need to and leave the rest. I have never been sure where that line was, and this kind of thing doesn't really help that - particularly given there's not really any hard, fast information I can lean on.
The way forward right now is to do the self-care I can, that IS within my control. Much (almost everything) is not within my control (this statement is true blood clot issues aside). Onward.
